A 33-year-old woman was arrested on Thursday (May 21) for her suspected involvement in two cases of shop theft.
The police had received reports on May 8 and May 18, about how items such as cosmetic and toiletries were stolen from a retail shop at Bedok Mall.
The items were valued at more than $600, said police in a statement on Friday (May 22).
Through ground enquiries and with the aid of CCTV images, officers from Bedok Police Division established the woman's identity and arrested her.
Investigations are ongoing.
The offence of theft in dwelling carries a jail term of up to seven years and a fine.
