Two men were taken to hospital after they were hit by a van along Serangoon Road on Thursday afternoon (Apr 25).

The van's driver, a 38-year-old woman, was arrested for dangerous driving, the police told Stomp.

Stompers Yasmin and Jaseem alerted Stomp to the accident and shared photos and a video taken at the scene near Minora Centre.

From the photos, the grey Nissan van struck a lamp post as well.

The impact of the collision caused the airbags in the vehicle to be deployed.

In response to a Stomp media query, a police spokesman said they were alerted to an accident involving a van and two pedestrians along Serangoon Road towards Upper Serangoon Road at about 4.20pm.

"Two male pedestrians, aged 18 and 23, were conscious when conveyed to Raffles Hospital and Tan Tock Seng Hospital respectively," the spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
