Town council issues warnings to Henderson Crescent resident for cluttering corridor with bulky items

Tanjong Pagar Town Council told Stomp that it has issued warning notices to a unit at Block 105 Henderson Crescent after a Stomper complained of the common corridor and staircase landing on her floor being cluttered with various bulky items.

Stomper Huiling alerted Stomp to the situation and said one of her neighbours has been using the common corridor and fire escape staircase as their own "personal storeroom".

"They only left a small pathway for others to pass through," she said.

"I believe all the items, including personal belongings and unused furniture, belong to the corner unit.

"This has been going on for a while now.

"I hope Tanjong Pagar Town Council can take action and provide some alternatives for them to store the items if necessary."

In response to a Stomp query, a spokesman from the town council said they are aware of this case.

"Our officers have issued two warning notices to the unit and have given them till Tuesday (Oct 22) to clear their items.

"If they do not comply, we will be issuing them a summons."
