Toa Payoh resident delighted to see bird lay eggs at his corridor

A man is feeling lucky after noticing that a bird had laid two eggs outside his home at Lorong 8 Toa Payoh.

Stomper Wei Sien said he had just returned home from work and dinner on Wednesday night (Mar 23) when he saw the eggs among his plants along the corridor.

Wei Sien said: "I was walking along the corridor and was surprised when I heard the mother bird flying off. I was happy to see that she had laid eggs outside my house.

"I placed plants outside my house to purify the air amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, I feel like the bird will bring me even more good luck, good health and good wealth."

According to Wei Sien, the eggs are still there today (Mar 25).

He added: "I also saw the mother sitting on her eggs. I will help to protect them."
