Security officer personally escorts visually impaired passenger to platform of Bendemeer MRT Station

A Stomper was touched by the kindness of a transit security officer at Bendemeer MRT Station on Feb 13 at about 12.40pm.

She was at the station when she noticed the officer personally escorting a visually impaired passenger with a white cane.

"This particular security officer even held the man's hand and brought him down to the platform and waited until his train arrived to ensure the passenger got into the train and was safe," she said.

She noted the officer was employed by security company Soverus.

"This is the true spirit of an extraordinary security officer," she said.
