PMD catches fire while in use at Sengkang HDB block

A Personal Mobility Device (PMD) was being used as it caught fire at 5.45pm on Tuesday (Sep 3).
Stomper Ang contributed a video of the incident which occurred at Block 268D Compassvale Link.
Ang told Stomp: "I saw the fire as I drove past the area and even saw the fire being put out by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF)."
Responding to a Stomp query, SCDF said: "At about 5.45pm on Tuesday (Sep 3), SCDF responded to a fire involving a PMD that was in use when it caught fire at Block 268D Compassvale Link.
"The fire was extinguished by SCDF using a fire extinguisher.
"There were no reported injuries."
