Motorcyclist and taxi driver taken to hospital after head-on crash in Jurong West

Two men were taken to hospital after an accident involving a motorcycle and a taxi in Jurong West on Wednesday morning (Feb 12).

The police told Stomp that they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Jurong West Avenue 1 and Jurong West Street 42 at 9.25am.

"Both the 58-year-old taxi driver and the 35-year-old motorcyclist were conscious when conveyed to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital," said a police spokesman.

A video circulating on social media shows the head-on collision between both parties.

The motorcyclist can be seen getting flung off his bike due to the impact.

Police investigations are ongoing.
