28-year-old motorcyclist taken to hospital after accident with car in Woodlands

A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital after an accident involving his motorcycle and a car in Woodlands on Tuesday morning (Jan 14).

Responding to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Woodlands Avenue 2 and Woodlands Avenue 1 at 8.52am.

The motorcyclist was conscious when taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

Stomper Miracle was passing by on a bus when she noticed the accident scene.

A video that she submitted to Stomp shows paramedics attending to a man who can be seen lying on the road with his helmet still on.

A licence plate, a pair of shoes and debris are seen strewn on the road, while a black car can also be spotted on the pedestrian crossing at the junction.

Police investigations are ongoing.
