Motorcyclist and pillion rider taken to hospital after accident with car along BKE

A motorcyclist and his female pillion rider were both taken to hospital after an accident with a car along the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) towards the Tampines Expressway (TPE) on Saturday (Nov 22).

Stomper Saiful alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos taken at the scene of the fallen riders being attended to by two men.

"Drivers assisted to block the road after the riders fell from the bike," said Saiful.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at about 5.03pm.

"The motorcyclist, an 18-year-old man, and his pillion, an 18-year-old woman, were conscious when conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
