Boy, 3, and woman, 64, taken to hospital after accident at Jurong Bird Park

A three-year-old boy and a 64-year-old woman, who were passengers in a car, were taken to hospital after an accident involving a van at the junction of Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim and Bird Park Drive on Saturday morning (Nov 23).

A Stomper contributed a photo showing the aftermath of the accident where the car and the van can be seen on a kerb.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said: "On Nov 23 at 11.53am, the police were alerted to an accident involving a car and a van at the junction of Jalan Ahmah Ibrahim and Bird Park Drive. 

"The van driver, a 64-year-old man, was conscious when conveyed to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

"The passengers of the car, a three-year-old boy and a 64-year-old woman, were conscious when conveyed to National University Hospital.

"Police investigations are ongoing."
