Men fling beer bottles at each other during brawl in Geylang restaurant

A violent brawl broke out at a restaurant located at 1 Lorong 23 Geylang last Wednesday (Dec 12).

Several Stompers alerted Stomp to a circulated video of the incident, showing how the men flung beer bottles at each other as onlookers and staff tried to restrain them.

A source told Stomp that the fight was over money matters.

Based on the video, the dispute appeared to involve one man, who was in striped shirt, against at least two other guys.

Vulgarities can be heard in the background while a woman said: "Enough! Stop fighting!"

Stomp understands that the police were called at 8.56pm.

In response to a Stomp query, the police confirm that a report was lodged and investigations are ongoing.
