A man was arrested for public nuisance after a dispute involving him and another guy took place near the entrance of Orchard Towers on Thursday (Sep 20).
The police told Stomp that they were alerted to a call for assistance at 400 Orchard Road at 8.55am.
"A 23-year-old man was conscious when conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital," said a police spokesman.
"A 26-year-old man was arrested in relation to the case. Police investigations are ongoing."
A Stomper shared with Stomp a photo of what is believed to be blood on the floor, accompanied by two caution signs.
"There's only a bit of blood," she said.
Stomp understands that the 23-year-old man had called the police because he was walking into Orchard Towers when he was allegedly kicked and punched by the 26-year-old man for no apparent reason.
He reportedly did not know the 26-year-old guy, who was with two other men.
Following the assault, the 23-year-old was left with a swollen right eye, as well as cuts on his right eye and lips area.
The three men were identified by the police after a patrol was conducted, but they denied being involved and said they were just drinking.
The 26-year-old, who appeared to be drunk, was not cooperative when engaged by the police and was subsequently arrested for public nuisance.
