Kia Picanto driver side-swipes motorcyclist, then drives off

A Kia Picanto driver was caught on video side-swiping a motorcyclist and then driving off without stopping.

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the video that was posted on Beh Chia Lor - Singapore Road's Facebook page.

It is unclear where this happened but the post said it occurred on Jan 4 and the Kia's licence plate is SGD5474A.

In the video, the Kia is seen veering to the left when it hits the motorcycle with its right side.

The rider is seen falling onto the road while his bike careens to the road's central divider and crashes into a tree.

A black object is seen flying back onto the road after the impact.

Netizens have commended the driver who captured the incident on his car-cam driver for sharing the footage that may come in useful for the fallen rider.
