Items along Compassvale Walk corridor catch fire

A fire broke out along the corridor of Block 236 Compassvale Walk on Sunday morning (Nov 15).

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the fire, which involved items along the 15th-floor corridor, at around 7.55am.

The SCDF extinguished the fire using buckets of water.

Stomper El Lee, who shared photos of the authorities at the scene, said the fire was brought under control by 8.30am.

There were no reported injuries and the cause of fire is under investigation.
