Huge reticulated python spotted nestled in electrical box at Tanglin Road

It is not uncommon to come across a reticulated python in Singapore but how many times have you found one nestled in an electrical box?

A motorist was taken by surprise when she spotted a reticulated python inside an electrical box along Tanglin Road on Monday morning (Aug 25).

Facebook user Yan Thomas took a photo of the reptile and shared it on Nature Society (Singapore)'s Facebook group page.

She told Stomp it was around 11.50am when she stopped at the traffic lights and saw three technicians attending to the electrical box.

She said: "I thought they were servicing the DB (distribution board) and saw this instead!"

Other netizens commenting on the photo suggested that the snake might have ended up in the unusual location while it was looking for somewhere warm.
