Group of men fish at Marina Promenade despite 'no fishing' sign

A group of four men were spotted fishing at a prohibited area at Marina Promenade.

Stomper Mrjokerboy69 said he saw the group near Customs House on June 3 and shared photos of them in the act.

He told Stomp: "I saw four guys fishing even though there is a sign there that says no fishing.

"I feel that is a disgrace to the public because there are tourists in the area. The way they moved around with their lure hooks swinging around looked very dangerous too."

Fishing is permitted at selected reservoirs and waterways. For a list of designated fishing locations, check out PUB's website.

Offenders caught fishing at no-fishing areas can be fined up to $3,000.
