Youths fish illegally near Esplanade, leave upon seeing Stomper take pics of them

Four youths were seen fishing at a prohibited area behind the Esplanade building on Sunday afternoon (Sep 6).

Stomper Anon said he spotted the group at around 1.30pm and shared photos.

He told Stomp: "Fishing is definitely illegal there.

"They started to move off the moment they saw me taking pictures of them."

Offenders caught fishing at no-fishing areas can be fined up to $3,000.
