Food delivery customer shocked after drink arrives spilled, noodles not covered properly

A woman disappointed when a food delivery order for her son arrived with the cover not closed tightly and a drink that had spilt out of its cup into a plastic bag.

The Stomper told Stomp that her son's friend had kindly ordered lunch for him from Pontian Wanton Noodles at Rivervale Mall on Wednesday (May 19).

The meal was delivered via GrabFood and left outside their unit in line with safe distancing measures.

"When I opened the door to take the food, I didn't see any delivery man," she said.

"I brought it in and was very angry!

"I could see that the food cover was not closed properly and the drink was horribly spilt!"

She shared that she immediately went down to the mall to ask the restaurant if they prepared the meal like this.

"The boss was very shocked and said they can't prepare the same set for me but gave me a replacement drink and asked me to report a complaint to Grab."
