Fire breaks out at The Rain Forest Sports Hub along Turf Club Road

A fire broke out in a shed at The Rain Forest Sports Hub on Tuesday evening (Jan 8).

Stomper Alim shared with Stomp a circulated video of the incident, showing smoke at the scene.

A fire engine, a police car and firefighters can also been seen in the 15-second video.

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it responded to a fire at 2 Turf Club Road at 7.44pm.

The fire involved the contents of a shed.

It was extinguished by the SCDF using two fire extinguishers and a hose reel.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
