Fire breaks out at Pasir Ris coffee shop

A fire broke out at a Pasir Ris coffee shop on Tuesday (Jan 15).

Stompers Sarah and Edros shared photos and videos of Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers on the scene fighting the fire.

In a video, flames and smoke can be seen coming from an exhaust duct connected to the coffee shop as the SCDF direct streams of water at it.

In response to a Stomp media query, an SCDF spokesman said they responded to the fire at Block 442 Pasir Ris Drive 6 at about 5.10pm.

The fire was extinguished by SCDF using two water jets.

There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
