Elderly woman on PMA gets into accident with car in Bedok, driver assisting with investigations

A 71-year-old personal mobility aid (PMA) rider was taken to hospital after an accident with a car in Bedok on Nov 17.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at the junction of New Upper Changi Road and Bedok North Avenue 1 at around 7.20am.

The elderly female PMA rider was conscious when taken to hospital.

"A 56-year-old female car driver is assisting with investigations," police added.

Stomper Ed was on a bus at around 8.15am when he noticed the accident scene and took photos. A car and a PMA, both pink in colour, can be seen stopped on a zebra crossing.
