Driver narrowly avoids hitting rider who entered Senja Rd carpark from wrong lane to evade parking fee

Stomper Mike was exiting the carpark at Block 636C Senja Road on Wednesday (Jan 23) at about 6.53pm when he narrowly avoided getting hit by a motorcyclist entering the carpark.

In a video shared by the Stomper, the rider is seen entering the carpark from the wrong lane in an apparent attempt to evade paying for parking.

"I was travelling towards the carpark gantry when I nearly hit his bike head-on," said Mike.

"Good thing I was driving slowly and aware of my surroundings.

"I noted the bike avoided gantry charges by going against traffic just to save a mere 65 cents.

"It's funny because the carpark also has a grace period so he could have avoided being charged altogether.

"He almost risked losing more by doing this."
