Commuter salutes SBS Transit staff for job dedication and warm service

Stomper Ali was heartened by the hands-on approach of an SBS Transit staff member on the Downtown Line this morning (Mar 27).

He had noticed the staffer on several previous occasions but took the opportunity to take a photo of the man to salute him for his service.

"He's got my salute and respect in the way he does his job," said Ali.

"When the train was reaching the end of the line at Bukit Panjang, he went through the train cabin and woke up some sleeping passengers to make sure they did not overshoot their destination.

"He would also give a very warm smile whenever he walks pass any passenger."
