Case of criminal force in Pasir Ris: 'We trying fight Covid-19, y'all trying to fight one other'

A fight broke out at Block 187 Pasir Ris Street 11 in the wee hours of Friday (Mar 27).

Stomper Stayhome said he was awakened by the commotion at around 1am and took a video showing several people in an altercation on the streets.

It is unclear what the group was fighting about.

Stayhome told Stomp: "I was trying to sleep at when I heard a commotion outside and saw a gathering of more than 10 people, shoving and shouting at one other on the road.

"While we are trying to fight to Covid-19, y'all trying to fight each other. What stupidity is this? #stayhome #getpopcorn #cinemaclosed #windowbecometv"

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to a case of criminal force at the block at 1.13am.

Police investigations are ongoing.
