Bus crashes through central divider along Tampines Road

An SBS Transit bus crashed through the railing of a central road divider in Tampines on Tuesday afternoon (Jan 14).

The police told Stomp that they were alerted to the accident, which occurred in the direction of Tampines Link, at 1.30pm.

No injuries were reported and police investigations are ongoing.

Stomper Kumar, who submitted photos of the bus and damaged railing, said: "I was travelling on a bus when I noticed the scene.

"A bus had mounted the central road divider and looked stuck."

Ms Tammy Tan, SBS Transit's senior vice president of corporate communications, told Stomp: "We are thankful that no one was hurt in the accident and have commenced investigations."
