Audi engulfed in flames at Lower Delta exit of AYE

A car was on fire at the Lower Delta Road exit of Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) towards Tuas on Saturday afternoon (Nov 11).
Stomper Manish shared a video of the thick smoke rising from the burning Audi vehicle.
"While on the bus on my way home, I observed smoke shortly after the Lower Delta Flyover," said the Stomper.
"Approximately 100m from Cendex Center, a car was engulfed in flames."

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted at about 1:25pm to the vehicle fire.
"Upon SCDF’s arrival, the car was fully engulfed by fire," said SCDF, which extinguished the fire using a hose reel.
A person was assessed for minor injuries and declined to be taken to the hospital.
The cause of fire is under investigation.
