$7.30 for fried rice at Bukit Panjang coffee shop -- and the portion is so small

Expectations and reality sometimes differ vastly.

That was the case for Stomper YK, who was enticed by the appetising menu he saw at a coffee shop in Bukit Panjang, only to be left disappointed when his food was served.

YK said he visited the Yummy Fried Rice stall at Block 257 Bangkit Road for lunch on Monday (June 19).

He recounted: "I ordered Mala Fried Rice with Chicken Cutlet to try and the portion was so small but it cost $7.30. The mala rice was very flavourful but the chicken chop had not much taste.

"Overall, it was an okay meal but $7.30 is too expensive for its portion size."
