27-year-old Malaysian man bashes wife for cutting hair short without consent

A 29-year-old woman was beat up by her husband for cutting her hair without his consent.

She lodged a report over the incident after it happened last Thursday (Dec 15), reports The Star via AsiaOne.

She claimed that she had dyed her hair earlier in December but when her 27-year-old husband found out, he scolded her.

She cut her hair short after that, worrying that her husband would be unhappy but it just escalated the situation.

When he returned home, he became angry and started beating her.

According to the report, she sustained injuries to her eye, shoulder and knee.

The man was arrested on Monday (Dec 19).
