2 men arrested for allegedly stealing $4,000 gold bracelet from Eunos pawnshop

Two men, aged 32 and 34, have been arrested for allegedly stealing a gold bracelet worth $4,000 from a pawnshop.

The police were alerted to the theft at a pawnshop along Eunos Crescent on Aug 6 at 2.05pm.

Officers from Bedok Police Division established the identities of the two men and arrested them within 12 hours of the report.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the men are believed to be involved in other similar cases of theft.

The gold bracelet was also recovered and seized as a case exhibit.

The men will be charged in court on Tuesday (Aug 10) with theft in dwelling with common intention.

The offence carries a jail term of up to seven years, and a fine.
