Netizens ridicule BMW driver for stopping car in shade while waiting for light to turn green

Netizens are throwing shade at a BMW driver who was seen stopping under a bridge along Xilin Avenue while waiting for the traffic light to turn green.

A video of the incident was shared on SG Road Vigilante's YouTube page. According to the caption, it was recorded on June 13 at 2.50pm.

Netizens concluded that the driver stopped his car in the middle of the road, at least three car lengths away from the car in front of him, to shelter his own car from the sun.

One netizen wrote: "This person is the kind that opens an umbrella in Jewel."

Another tried to reason: "BMW is prone to fire. Should understand that Singapore weather is scorching hot."
