Man seen fishing illegally and throwing catch back into water at Punggol Waterway

A man was spotted fishing illegally at Punggol Waterway Park on Monday (Mar 23) at about 12pm.

Stomper Alan shared with Stomp a video he took of the incident.

"I saw this man catch a fish and throw it back to the water," said Alan.

He told Stomp that there are many signs warning park-goers not to fish in the area.

"A fine is displayed on the signs," he said.

"These useless punks are breaking the law."

According to the NParks website, fishing is not allowed at Punggol Waterway Park.
