An enormous fireball erupted and lit the skies of Tongling city, Anhui in China, yesterday (Feb 8) night at around 10.50pm.
The fireball is understood to have occurred from an explosion at a boiler room in a chemical plant reports Shanghaiist.
Firefighters arrived on the scene promptly and put the fire out.
Despite the scale of the explosion, only two people suffered slight injuries, mainly from flying glass shards derived from the impact of the blast.
Local authorities have confirmed that there have been no leak of dangerous substances and advise the public to be at ease.
