Rudeness begets more rudeness?

A woman making an enquiry about a cleaning service was shocked to get abusive messages from a customer services representative.

Stomper Shien said she contacted a company called Knoc Knoc about a cleaning package via Instagram on July 5.

"The customer service representative 'Sabrina' was rude, abusive and unprofessional," said the Stomper.

"Sabrina made several personal attacks against me, including insulting my religious beliefs, asking me if I needed IMH (Institute of Mental Health) number and asking God to smite me.

"I was shocked and appalled by her behavior. I felt that she was completely out of line. Her abusive messages were sent from Knoc Knoc's IG business account."

The Stomper shared screenshots of the messages as well as part of the conversation that led to them, in which Sabrina said: "Please do not be rude."

This implies that the customer service rep thought that the Stomper was being rude first.

The screenshots do not show the Stomper's replies to Sabrina's abusive messages.

The Stomper said: "Her behaviour was unacceptable. Customers should not be treated in this way."

Stomp has contacted Knoc Knoc for more info.
