Woman touched by Carousell user's positive review after 'too much negativity online'

It was just a few words of gratitude, but they made her day.

Stomper Jing Wen was left deeply touched by a positive review she received from a Carousell user that she met on Dec 28.

Jing Wen was giving away a Chinese New Year (CNY) ornament on the e-commerce platform and a user came to her house in Choa Chu Kang to collect it.

The user later told Jing Wen: "Thank you for giving away your CNY deco. I on behalf (of) my nursing home thank you, may God bless you abundantly."

Jing Wen shared the heartwarming exchange with Stomp and said: "I want to thank this Carousell user for coming.

"I had mixed feelings about providing my address to a Carouseller due to fears of the high risk of phishing scams, but I am so touched after reading this review. Social media has portrayed too much negativity on such platforms."
