Woman looking for culprit who scratched her car at Junction 8 carpark

Stomper Sylvia is looking for the person who scratched her car at Junction 8 in Bishan on Thursday (Oct 31).

She had parked her car in lot 18 on level B1 of the mall's carpark from 11.20am to 12.30pm.

"To my dismay, after leaving the carpark, I found my car front was severely scratched and damaged," she said.

"It was a long scratch that could not have been done with unintentional great force with something sharp.

"I was in no way hindrance to anyone as I was properly parked in a designated lot in between two cars. 

"It was definitely a cold blanket to me and I even tried to ask the security to check their footage after checking my own dashboard cam which is unfortunately not a running cam when the engine is switched off.

"That was when I realised the importance of having running cams in our cars, especially in carparks.

"Even when in the mall, CCTV cameras may be of a hopeless use in deterring such mischief or crimes."

Sylvia said she is will to reward any informants who can provide footage of the incident so she can find the person responsible.
