Woman captures video of 13 lightning bolts in 2 minutes from Senja Valley

Chasing lightning can be a dangerous hobby but some enthusiasts live for the thrill.

Stomper Yen Sim calls herself a 'lightning chaser' but (wisely) does so from indoors.

She shared with Stomp a video where she managed to capture 13 lightning bolts in two minutes on Saturday (Apr 15).

She took the video from her home in Senja Valley overlooking the Kranji Expressway (KJE).

"Here's one beautiful one from Saturday's lightning show," she said.

When asked about her experience with chasing lightning she said: "Yes, it is very dangerous if not done indoors.

"I live for these moments especially when the bolts light up the horizon and I'm lucky to have an awesome view of the horizon as well."
