Van driver taken to hospital after accident at Upper Serangoon Road

A 31-year-old man was taken to hospital after he was involved in an accident along Upper Serangoon Road on Tuesday afternoon (May 14).

Stomper Sean alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos taken as he was passing by the scene at about 2.06pm.

In the photos, several vehicles appear to have collided and debris is seen lying on the road.

"It was a collision between four vehicles if I'm not wrong," said Sean.

The police told Stomp that they were alerted to an accident involving a car and a van at about 2.14pm.

Stomp understands the other vehicles were involved in an insurance case.

"The van driver, a 31-year-old man, was conscious when conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
