Van driver arrested after motorcyclist left unconscious in Bedok accident

A van driver was arrested for dangerous driving after an accident with a motorcyclist in Bedok on Tuesday afternoon (Sep 7).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to an accident involving a van and a motorcycle at the junction of Bedok South Road and Bedok South Avenue 1 at 2.17pm.

The 25-year-old male motorcyclist was unconscious when taken to hospital.

The 56-year-old male driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing grievous hurt.

Stomper James shared a video of the accident scene, where the motorcycle can be seen lying on the road.

What appears to be a pool of blood is also seen next to the bike.

Police investigations are ongoing.
