A woman is offering a $200 reward for the return of her parrot named Autumn, which has been missing since Feb 18 and was last seen in Ang Mo Kio.

Stomper H said she has pasted more than 40 flyers and searched the neighbourhood to no avail.

"She was actually flying around in my room. My windows have a mesh, but she managed to squeeze through a narrow gap between the window and mesh," said the Stomper.

"Someone told me she was last sighted at 159 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4 a few days ago. An uncle tried to help me catch her, but she flew away.

"I suspect it had flown into someone's flat and the person may not be willing to return it."

The Stomper has also posted several times in the Facebook group Parrots SOS (Lost & Found) Singapore about her missing orange peach-faced lovebird.

On Feb 21, she wrote in her post: "Whoever is holding onto Autumn right now, please consider returning her to us. She has a family who is missing her.

"Autumn is not tame. I can buy a tame one for you if that's what you want. If you want monetary reward, we can discuss that in person. Just please give us back our Autumn."

Three days later, Stomper posted again: "I am still searching for my Autumn and am left with no choice but to make a police report. I am certain that someone is keeping my beloved LB as Autumn will seek the assistance of humans when tired and hungry."

She told Stomp that she has been so depressed since Autumn flew away that she has not been eating or sleeping well.

In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed that a report was lodged.
