Taxi passengers, aged 10 and 12, taken to hospital after accident with tipper truck in Serangoon

Two children were taken to hospital after an accident involving a taxi and a tipper truck in Serangoon on Saturday afternoon (Sep 7).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident along Boundary Road, towards Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1, at 3.12pm.

"Two passengers from the taxi, aged 10 and 12, were conscious when conveyed to KK Women's and Children's Hospital," added a police spokesman.

Stomper Sarifah, who contributed a photo of the collision, said there were two girls and one woman who were passengers in the taxi.

She added: "Four paramedics tried to calm down one of the little girls as she was seated next to the passenger door and was in shock by what happened."

Police investigations are ongoing.
