We all know broccoli is a vegetable right?

That's why a Stomper was not expecting to be charged for meat when he chose broccoli for his caifan from an economy rice stall at a food court in Bukit Panjang Plaza on Nov 6.

Stomper Heng shared a photo of his meal which included broccoli, meat and rice.

According to his receipt, the broccoli with mushrooms cost $1.80, which was the same price as the meat.

The total amount he paid was $4.40.

"I was expecting the broccoli to be charged as veggie price but I felt cheated," he said.

"When I asked the lady, I was told that broccoli is an expensive vegetable so it is charged as meat price."

The Stomper said he would not be visiting the stall again.
