A woman is hoping to reconnect with her former primary school classmates from Yio Chu Kang Primary School so that they can celebrate their 60th birthdays together next year.

Stomper Jenny Kusaba, also known as Lai Oei Mui, shared with Stomp she is married and has been living in Japan for the past 24 years.

"I have sought help from many media but no one is willing to help me," she said.

She is looking for her classmates who were at Yio Chu Kang Primary School with her from 1970 to 1975.

"I was the tall and skinny girl in class," she said.

"They used to call me the bamboo stick or ostrich legs."

She added that she has managed to reconnect with about 30 of her classmates and they are in a WhatsApp group. They meet up about once a year but she is looking for more of her batch mates.

"I plan to celebrate our 60th birthdays together next year," she said.

"I am going back to Singapore next month for a short holiday with my husband to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.

"I hope that you could help me to reconnect with them."
