A private bus collided with an SMRT bus at a Boon Lay Way bus stop outside Chinese Garden MRT station on Aug 8.

A Stomper shared a video of the bus after the accident, which happened at about 5.30pm.

"I was on the bus going home from school," said the Stomper.

The video shows the bus service 180 stopped at the side of the road with the bus captain standing in the bus with another man and speaking on the phone.

The windows next to the driver's seat looked smashed.

In response to a Stomp query, SMRT Buses managing director Vincent Gay said: "The collision shattered the mirror and windows near the bus captain's seat.

"There were no reported injuries among the 15 commuters and our bus captain on board the bus. The safety of our commuters is our topmost priority.

"We have taken immediate action to safely transfer them to another bus to continue their journey."
