Man climbs onto overturned minibus to help driver after accident along PIE

A minibus overturned after skidding along the Pan-Island Expressway towards Changi on Tuesday evening (July 11).

Stomper Jeffrey shared dashcam footage of the incident that occurred after the Stevens Road exit at around 7.20pm.

He said: "The videos were taken by my friend, who granted permission for me to submit them on his behalf.

"The minibus driver tried to overtake others on the first lane, lost control of his vehicle and flipped sideways."

In the video, two men can be seen running towards the minibus to help after the accident. One of them then climbs on top of the vehicle and appears to help its driver out.

The police told Stomp that they were alerted to the accident at 7.24pm.

No injuries were reported and police investigations are ongoing.
