Pedestrian makes mad dash across road to avoid car that ran red light in Ang Mo Kio

A car was caught on camera beating a red light in Ang Mo Kio, forcing a pedestrian to sprint across the road in order to avoid an accident.

Stomper Lau Lau alerted Stomp to a Facebook video of the incident, which occurred along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6 on Friday (Aug 18), at around 10.30am.

In the video, the car can be seen running the red light and failing to stop for the pedestrian.

The pedestrian, who is in the midst of crossing the road, therefore increases speed and dashes for the other side of the road.

In the comments section of the Facebook post, netizens slammed the driver's recklessness and asked for him to be removed from the road.
