Mitsubishi runs red light and nearly hits woman in wheelchair at Punggol East

A Mitsubishi car was caught on video running a red light in Punggol on Monday afternoon (July 24).
The car narrowly missed hitting a woman in a wheelchair who was being pushed at the pedestrian crossing.
The video was posted on SG Road Vigilante's Facebook page.

In the video, the traffic light is in the pedestrians' favour when a woman begins to push an elderly woman in a wheelchair across the road.
Shortly afterwards, a red Mitsubishi zooms through the red light.
The woman pushing the wheelchair appears stunned and stops a while before resuming.
A motorcyclist gestures and talks to her as she smiles at him before reaching the other side of the crossing.
Several netizens who commented on the video urged the contributor to report the matter to the Land Transport Authority (LTA) and Traffic Police (TP).
