A Stomper is appealing for witnesses after she was involved in an accident with a lorry on Jan 12 at about 8pm along Kitchener Road.

The Stomper said she was riding pillion on a Yahama Fino motorcycle when a door of a lorry hit her and the motorcyclist.

She said: "There was a lorry parked on our left.

"As we were passing by, the right door of the lorry suddenly swung open and hit the bike.

"My friend and I fell off the bike as a result."

She said that her friend was injured badly on his left side due to the impact from the door, while she suffered a few abrasions and a minor fracture on her right hand.

She shared with Stomp photos of the injuries that her friend, the motorcyclist, sustained.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said: "On 12 January 2019 at 8.10pm, the police were alerted to an accident involving a lorry and a motorcycle along Kitchener Road.

"The rider, a 28-year-old man, and his female pillion, a 22-year-old woman, were conscious when conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital."

She told Stomp: "If anyone witnessed the incident or has a video of it, please let me know.

"Do help spread the message around, so more witnesses can come forward. Thank you."
