Motorcyclist, 51, taken to hospital after skidding along Yishun Avenue 1

A 51-year-old man was taken to hospital after a motorcycle accident in Yishun on Sunday (July 7).

The police told Stomp in response to queries that they were alerted to the accident along Yishun Avenue 1, towards Yishun Avenue 8, at 6.59pm.

The motorcyclist was conscious when conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

Stomp understands that he is believed to have self-skidded and no other vehicles were involved.

Stomper Kohji, who sent videos that he took at the scene, said: "There was a CSI van and other police vehicles there."

Police investigations are ongoing.
