Motorcyclist and car passenger taken to hospital after accident at Yishun junction

A motorcyclist and car passenger were taken to hospital after they were involved in an accident at the junction of Yishun Avenue 2 and Yishun Central on Saturday (Apr 27).

Stomper Elton alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos showing the rider lying on the road in the middle of the junction.

In response to a Stomp media query, the police said they were alerted to the accident involving a car and motorcycle at about 12.57pm.

"The male motorcyclist and car passenger were both conscious when conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital," a spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
