Messy construction site at Pasir Ris is a potential mosquito breeding ground

Stomper Abdul is concerned that a messy construction site in Pasir Ris might be a potential breeding ground for mosquitoes.

He shared photos of the site with Stomp that were taken yesterday (Mar 26) near Block 456 Pasir Ris Drive 4.

Having fallen to dengue fever before, Abdul is especially concerned about the situation.

"It is a temporary construction site that used to be covered," said Abdul.

"However, they cleared the roof and left all this equipment out in the open.

"The pails aren't covered and if left there for a few days, they may collect water.

"I really hope that they can clear it soon and not leave the items and equipment there for too long."
